Leland has long been recognized as one of the top fishing ports in the state of Michigan. Large numbers of fish stay in the waters of the Manitou Passage feeding on the smelt, alewives and bait that is abundant in the area.

Your trip will begin in Leland, but we fish along Lake Michigan's shore from Northport to Glen Arbor & Empire to Frankfort.

Fishing Seasons

Captain Anderson has been fishing the waters of Lake Michigan for over 31 years and is licensed by the
United States Coast Guard. He is also a member of
the Michigan Charter Boat Association.

The Far Fetched is a 28' Bertram that is designed and equipped expressly for sport fishing and is fully inspected by the Michigan DNR. On board, we have
the most modern equipment and electronics to make your trip successful, comfortable, and safe. Our experienced crew is dedicated to bringing you lots of excitement and action!
